About the PBL in Kentucky initiative
The Scaling Gold Standard PBL Kentucky initiative aims to scale high quality PBL to one-third of Kentucky’s public schools. The Kentucky National Faculty team will facilitate gold standard workshops in all Educational Cooperatives across the state. In addition, participating schools will receive PBLWorks’ Gold Standard PBL 101 training, and ongoing support for their teachers to begin (or continue) implementing high quality projects with students.
The Scaling Gold Standard PBL Kentucky initiative will provide Gold Standard PBL training and support to Kentucky educators and leaders throughout the state through a blend of face-to-face workshops, personal online coaching for school leaders, school site visits, and deep collaboration with a peer network of fellow Kentucky PBL leaders.
The next leader cohort will launch in March 2022 and will conclude in January 2023 with more leader cohort start dates to be announced. Training for teachers will begin in the summer months.
